Elton John – Your song – Live Testo e Traduzione

It’s a little bit funny this feeling inside – È un pochino strana questa sensazione che ho dentro
I’m not one of those who can easily hide – Non è una di quelle che puoi nascondere facilmente
I don’t have much money but boy if I did – Non ho molti soldi, ma – ragazzi – se li avessi
I’d buy a big house where we both could live – Comprerei una grande casa dove noi due potremmo vivere

If I was a sculptor,eh… but then again, no – Se fossi uno scultore, eh… ma ecco, di nuovo: non è così
Or a man who makes potions in a travelling show – O un uomo di quelli che preparano pozioni in uno show itinerante
I know it’s not much but it’s the best I can do – Lo so che non è un granché, ma è il meglio che possa fare
My gift is my song and this one’s for you – Il mio dono è la mia canzone e questa è per te

And you can tell everybody this is your song – E tu potrai dire a tutti che questa è la tua canzone
It may be quite simple but now that it’s done – Può essere piuttosto banale ma adesso che è finita
I hope you don’t mind – Spero non ti dispiaccia
I hope you don’t mind that I put down in words – Spero non ti dispiaccia se ho messo giù in parole
How wonderful life is while you’re in the world – Quanto sia meravigliosa la vita visto che tu sei al mondo

I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss – Io sedevo sul tetto e levavo via a calci il muschio
Well a few of the verses well they’ve got me quite cross – beh, alcuni tra i versi, diciamo mi sono proprio saltati in mente
But the sun’s been quite kind while I wrote this song – Ma il sole è stato davvero gentile mentre scrivevo questa canzone
It’s for people like you that keep it turned on – È per le persone come te che fanno che esso rimanga splendente

So excuse me forgetting but these things I do – Perciò scusa per ciò che dimentico, ma queste sono le tipiche cose che mi succedono
You see, I’ve forgotten if they’re green or they’re blue – Vedi, ad esempio ho scordato se siano verdi o blu
Anyway, the thing is: what I really mean – Tuttavia, la faccenda è questa: quello che volevo veramente intendere è che
Yours are the sweetest eyes I’ve ever seen – I tuoi sono gli occhi più dolci che io abbia mai visto

How wonderful life is while you’re in the world – Quanto sia meravigliosa la vita per il fatto che tu sei al mondo
